Midland are due to open Kenny Chesney's concerts at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts this weekend and needless to say, the band is super excited about the opportunity.
Jess Carson notes that the two concerts, taking place Friday and Saturday, are “by far the biggest shows we’ve played,” while Mark Wystrach notes that Kenny’s Gillette shows are “the biggest event in country music outside of a music festival.”
Of course playing such a big show does put a little pressure on the band. “I don’t even know how to prepare for that,” Mark offers. “I don’t think you can, I think you just step on stage and start playing.”
