Shania Twain is the latest musician to land a reality TV show gig. The singer, whose new album “Shania Now” drops September 29th, has signed on as a mentor on the Canadian singing competition The Launch.
The show, which also features Fergie and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, follows a group of unsigned musicians trying to create an original song in just two days. The six-part series, created and co-judged by music exec Scott Borchetta, is set to launch on CTV next year, although it is expected to be shopped internationally.
Shania showed off her acting chops last night as a guest on the Comedy Central series “Broad City.” In a preview of the clip, Shania is seen working out, only to decide to stop so she can go home to see “Friends.” Check it out below...
