Miranda Lambert has been making music that is personal to her for years, but her latest project, the double album she released last fall is maybe one of the more personal collection of music to date. The Weight Of These Wings features “Vice” and “Tin Man”—two songs that reflect real emotions, and Miranda wouldn’t have it any other way, “Country music is about real life, and I’ve always said that. And all the artists I love are the ones that bare their souls, so why would I stray away from that? I mean, it is a little bit scary, but my fans I know want to know me and want to know where I’m comin’ from and want to be able to relate to me and me to them, so just bein’ honest is just what I’ve decided that is right for my music and for me, ’cause I don’t have anything to hide, and I want people to know who I am.”
