Early in Brett Young’s career he was convinced that he could do anything but he eventually realized, “I’m not Superman.”
Brett says he was the type of person who was “never too tired,” and never turned down anything, but at some point he admitted to himself that wasn’t a good idea. He notes, “I absolutely get too tired, and there are absolutely are things I have to turn down."
Brett also learned how important a career in music is to him. He says it’s one of those things that seems like a “pipe dream,” so he knew he had to “stay focused,” because being successful at it is something that's “very unlikely.”
