Brantley Gilbert and his wife Amber welcomed their first child into the world on Saturday!
Barrett Hardy-Clay Gilbert was born at 1:37 p.m. local time at Piedmont Hospital in Athens, Georgia, weighing in at 6 pounds, seven ounces and measuring 20 inches in length. Baby Barrett was due on November 17th, so he arrived a bit earlier than expected.
Brantley said of his arrival, "It was really fast. Amber woke up, had a little pain and the nurse said, ‘You’re ready.’ It was 30 minutes, and we had Barrett. And I have no words, beyond it’s even more than I could’ve ever imagined.”
