Garth Brooks released The Anthology Part 1: The First Five Years on Tuesday.
The five-CD collection includes rare demo recordings, songwriting sessions and early unreleased material.
Garth Brooks says his new Anthology Part 1: The First Five Years will shed new light on his music for even the most die-hard and well-versed music lover.
"You’re gonna hear from the songwriters of the songs…you’re gonna hear from the players that played the songs…you’re gonna hear from everybody that ever made that song what it was.”
The anthology also comes with a 240-page hardcover book that features photos, session charts and tracking sheets.
This is the first anthology in a series of five. Catch Garth on Good Morning America on November 20th on ABC, The Ellen Degeneres Show also on November 20th, and on ABC's The View on November 22nd. He just won his sixth CMA Entertainer of the Year Award.
