Carrie Underwood's husband Mike Fisher is coming out of retirement to rejoin his former NHL team, the Nashville Predators. The Preds, with Mike as their captain, made it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs last year. He hopes to sign a contract by the trade deadline of February 26th.
Coming out of retirement in the NHL is pretty much unprecedented.
It will be fun seeing Carrie in the stands again.
He was a positive force in the locker room, so he will be great for team morale.
It was surprising that he retired after coming so close to winning the Stanley Cup.
