Lady Antebellum is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the release of their self-titled debut album, and while the record was a hit, it was their second album that featured their biggest song to date “Need You Now,” which spent five weeks at number one on the "Billboard" Hot Country Songs chart, won four GRAMMY Awards in 2011.
The band says they “could never expect” that the song would be such a huge success, noting, “I mean the response from the get-go was so big.”
While the track wound up being a “career song” for the group, they actually thought their 2008 track “Run To You” was the one that was going to be the huge hit. Regardless, they say “Need You Now” is a song they're “just really proud of.”
