Jason Aldean has just released "Drowns the Whiskey," which features Miranda Lambert.
This isn't his first collaboration with Miranda. They recorded "Grown Woman" together for his album Relentless.
"I'm always looking for songs and ways to collaborate with other people anyway and I just kinda wanted to do something else with her. I've always been a big fan of her voice and her style and everything."
Jason kicks off his High Noon Neon tour on Thursday in Kansas City, Missouri.
Jason sent Miranda another song first, but she gave it a thumbs down. "Drowns the Whiskey" is a perfect fit for both of them.
He gives a shout-out to the people who make Jack Daniel's whiskey. Maybe he'll get an endorsement deal.
I'd like to hear a real duet between the two of them someday.
