Dierks Bentley is set to kick off his Mountain High Tour Friday in Columbia, Maryland, and before the launch he decided to stop by Nashvilleâs Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to help them kick off their âHunger Free Summerâ campaign.
Dierks was joined by his band and crew, as well as tour openers LANCO for the kick off, helping to package more than 10 thousand pounds of food which will help families in need during the summer when schools arenât passing out free meals.
âTypically when a tour is a about to launch, you get your band and crew together for some drinks before the run, but I wanted to make sure we did something different this year. We got everyone together to really start off with what itâs all about for me right nowâŠgratitude. The more we get to do and grow out there on the road, the more I want to make it all mean something and Second Harvest is doing great work to make a difference in our community.â
