Not everyone can cry glitter tears, but Carrie Underwood pulls it off in her video and other visual elements for her new single, "Cry Pretty."
Carrie says she came up with the idea herself.
"When I was thinking about visual things, a song like 'Cry Pretty,' that's just something I saw in my head. The whole song is you can't cry pretty, we kind of turned it into something artful and good."
Watch Carrie perform the song on the upcoming CMT Music Awards on June 6th.
But let's be real here...Carrie would look beautiful with mascara running down her cheek, too. Carrie is taking on the role of producer on her new album, Cry Pretty, her sixth studio album. It'll be released September 14th.
