Luke Bryan doesn't like the new security measures that are in place to keep him safe from attacks like the one at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.
The new measures issued by his team discourage him from high-fiving the fans.
When Luke arrived to perform at the CMT Music Awards with his wife Caroline, he kept his distance from the crowd.
"Caroline was quick to call me out. She was like, 'I don't like you not loving on those fans.' And I'm like, 'You're right. I need to not let that happen again.' Cause they are out there in the sun and they see me get out of a car and they're like, 'Luke! Ahhh.'"
He says he's trying to get his security guidelines loosened up.
Have you noticed added security at shows since Route 91? Everybody needs to take precautions these days. Country artists love to get close to their fans and it's a shame that has changed. If security at the door is good, artists shouldn't have to worry about things on stage.
