FGL & Bebe Rexha Tie With Sam Hunt

Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha’s hit “Meant To Be” continues to dominate the Hot Country Songs chart, and has now tied a record set by Sam Hunt last year. The tune is spending its 34th week at number one, tying Sam’s “Body Like A Back Road” for the longest Hot Country Songs chart run on top.

“It's safe to say that we all felt like we had something special when we left the studio that night," Tyler Hubbard tells “Billboard” of the song. "But it was more than just special…With every unexpected surprise in the story of 'Meant to Be,' God was showing himself to be stronger than any tradition or genre.”

Rexha adds, “I'm so thankful to be a part of this song and humbled more with each week that it remains at the top of the 'Billboard' chart. ‘Meant to Be' was truly unexpected, and I'm starting to find out that the best things in life are.”

With another week at number one, FGL extends their record for the most weeks on top the Hot Country Songs chart, with a total of 90 weeks. “Meant To Be” also tops the Country Streaming Songs chart for a 30th week.

Kenny Chesney's "Get Along" is spending its second week on top the Country Airplay chart.

Thomas Rhett's "Life Changes" lands at ten on the Hot Country Songs chart, his 11th Top Ten hit.
