FGL Becomes First Artists To Spend 100 Weeks At #1

Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha’s hit “Meant To Be” tops the Hot Country Songs chart for a record-extending 44 weeks, giving FGL a new chart milestone. The duo has now spent a total of 100 weeks on top the Hot Country Songs chart, the first artists to ever reach such a feat.

The duo earned 100 weeks at number one with six songs. In addition to “Meant to Be,” “Cruise” was on top for 24 weeks, “Stay” six weeks, “This Is How We Roll,” featuring Luke Bryan, for six weeks, “Dirt,” for two and “H.O.L.Y.” for 18.

“I continue to be humbled and am honestly speechless by watching what our supporters and fans have done for us,” Tyler Hubbard tells ‘Billboard." “Being a part of country music history is more than a dream come true, and getting to do what we love on this level is something we will never take for granted.”

Brian Kelley adds, “We set out to write good songs, so to see them travel far beyond our reach is still hard to wrap our heads around. We are so thankful to country radio, our fans and our team for believing in even our wildest dreams.”

  • And if that’s not impressive enough, FGL is also at number two on the Hot Country Songs chart with their latest single “Simple.”
