Jason Aldean is proud that some of the women in country music are breaking down musical barriers and expanding their fan base with collaborations with artists in other formats. He’s especially impressed by Maren Morris, who picked up a Grammy nomination in the Pop/Duo Performance category for "The Middle," her song with Zedd and Grey.
"I dig that. I think that's cool. I know a lot of people look at that differently and I think it's great. I think country music needs her. I think she's a great singer and I think country music needs that. As long as this kinda stays her home, I think that's great."
Jason is also a big fan of new artist Ashley McBryde and his recent duet partner, Miranda Lambert.
