Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line have teamed up for their first collaboration. The song, “Can’t Hide Red,” appears on FGL’s upcoming album “Can’t Say I Ain’t Country,” and Jason says the duo asked him to be on the record via text.
“I’m in touch with those guys a lot. They’ll send me songs for my record if they know we’re going into the studio; they’ll send stuff,” he says. “This was just one they sent me and asked if I’d want to jump on their record and do it.”
Jason says the song is an “up-tempo” tune and he thinks people will “dig it.” As for working with Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelly, Jason shares, “It was great,” adding, “Working with other artists is always cool. It’s interesting to see how they work and things they do.”
He adds, “Obviously the way they record is way different than the way I do it, but it’s great. It’s fun. The song was cool. Got a chance to record with my buddies. So, it was fun.”
