Carly Pearce and Michael Ray got engaged over the holidays, and Carly wants fans to know her man is absolutely as great as he seems.
“People always ask me, ‘Is it really as real as it is online?’ And it really is. He really is that wonderful,” she says. “It was worth every single heartbreak and failed relationship that I’d ever had,” adding, “He’s the real deal, and I’m really lucky.”
While she wouldn’t spill any beans on their wedding, she did say, “He’s way more into it than I thought he would be,” adding, “we have so much in common, so we both agree on how we want our wedding to be….We are working on place, we are working on a date, and I’m working on dress, and have asked a couple designers to show me what’s possible.”
ONE MORE THING! Carly admits that maintaining a long distance relationship with her man isn’t easy, but they make it work. She notes, “for us, our life revolves around touring and being away and so we have to go to each other.” She adds, “he is now home to me. “
