As Maren Morris gets ready to release her new album, Girl on Friday...she's definitely relying on her friends to keep her grounded. And while she does have some great friends who are in the business, she also stresses the importance of having friends that aren't musical at all.
"That stuff gives me a lot of perspective. If you are constantly talking about your job, that's all you are worth. Eventually, that's all you're worth is to people."
Maren performs live on the Today show this Friday, which happens to be International Women's Day.
