The 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards are scheduled to take place on April 5th and according to the Academy, the show will go on.
The Academy says it will be keeping a close eye on the spread of the virus.
That being said, the first announcement of performers was released and it looks like Miranda Lambert will be performing with Linday Ell, Caylee Hammack, Elle King, Ashley McBryde and Tenille Townes. The group, which is all of Miranda’s Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour openers, except for Lindsay Ell, will perform "Fooled Around and Fell in Love," which is nominated for Music Event of the Year.
Lindsay is replacing Maren Morris, who is due to have her baby any day now. This year’s host Keith Urban is also slated to perform.
