This weekend was the very first season game for the newest Atlanta Soccer squad, the Atlanta United FC.
Fans where wild this weekend, to cheer on their new team. #UniteAndConquer
They took on the NY Red Bulls in front of a sold out crowd of 55,000 tickets, with many fans still waiting outside in long lines 20 minutes before kickoff.
So the United's first ever goal was a pretty big moment! One fans will say, "I was there for....", for many years to come.
Unfortunately, that as the only goal for Atlanta and they lost 1-2, in their opening game. However, there seems to be a lot to look forward to with this team, and it's exciting to have a new pro team in Atlanta!! Good luck guys!! #HornsUp
