Adrian Derbyshire's said on his Facebook, "I can't tell you all how I feel as I've gone past the line of devastation & loss" in a post about his daughter's death due to bullying. His heart was shattered when his daughter hung herself, after being bullied. He shared a serious message to everyone about the dangers of cyber-bullying and attacking someone.
Deerbyshire wrote, "On Julia's 18th Birthday & to raise awareness to @TheJDCampaign #SASSY I'm releasing photo's of Julia minutes before her death. We MUST continue to END STIGMA.BULLYING.HATE & SUPPORT THOSE SUFFERING WITH MENTAL HEALTH BECAUSE OF IT".
As a Father, I can't even fathom the feeling this man is enduring. The loss of a child has to be one of the tuffest things in the world, especially when it's over something so preventable and dumb. I, personally, pride myself in trying to spread love to others and be positive. I'm disgusted by people who need to tear others down with hurtful words and actions, just to build themselves up.
I know my 2 kids are gonna face bullying. I just hope, as a father, I can teach them strength to get through it or ignore it. I pray for this man and his family as they dig through this tragedy. I hope they lean on God to hold them up. So sad!
