American Idol Is Coming Back... But is Ryan Seacrest?

The talent show that has produced more superstars than any other, is coming back. ABC announced the return of American Idol late this year.

“’American Idol’ is a pop culture staple that left the air too soon,” Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment, said in a statement. “ABC is the right home to reignite the fan base. We are thrilled viewers will once again share in these inspiring stories of people realizing their dreams.”

No exact dates have been announced yet, and no judges or hosts have been announced either. But will Ryan Seacrest be back? He was very cryptic on his new talk show Live With Kelly and Ryan:

I think he's already signed the deal after hearing what he said, but just in case they're still looking.

"ABC... I'm very interested, will take it to the next level, and be WAY cheaper! Call me!"
