Carrie Underwood cheered harder than anyone this year, as she watched her hubby, Mike Fisher, try to win a Stanley Cup title, but after 17 years he's hanging up the skates.
Fisher wrote a letter published in The Tennessean that said, "This is the hardest decision I've ever had to make, but I know I've made the right one. This job I've been able to have for a majority of my life is so much fun. To help create that entertainment and to see the joy we can bring to people is such a unique and exciting opportunity. I'll miss my teammates, my coaches and the game itself."
Carrie was a proud wifey and wrote this touching message to him on Facebook:
Now if they go in a title next year he's gonna regret it. They were SO close!
We wish him and Carrie the best in the future!
