The Atlanta Falcon's are having to make serious "decisions going forward" dealing with their cornerback squad and namely Jalen Collins. He just received another suspension.
The suspension comes after her apparently broke the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances, according to WSB-TV
Collins started for the injured Desmond Trufant, half of last season. He contributed 31 tackles and 2 interceptions in 6 games, but he'll miss 10 this season, .
"We are extremely disappointed that for the second straight season we are dealing with a suspension for Jalen," Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said in a statement released by the team. "Such are the consequences when certain choices are made. Our decisions going forward will be based on what Dan and I feel is best for the team."
He's not the starter, as Trufant and Robert Alford were expected to start this season again, but he was a good asset to the team. It sucks that he felt the need to break the rules and hurt his team.
My guess it that's it for his Falcon's career and he'll have to find another team.
