An Iraq Army Veteran was one of the Vegas shooting heros who led police to the shooter.
59 people killed and 500+ wounded, it coulda been more if Veteran Chris Bethel didn't immediately work to get a hold of police and let them know they where searching in the wrong place.
Bethel, from Haltom, TX, said he was 2 floors below the shooter in the Mandalay Bay hotel when he heard the gunshots. His experience at war told him immediately what that sound was. That's when he saw police gathering and searching in the wrong areas.
"It seems like it just never stops," he told KTVT. "Seconds are going by, minutes are going by, and the rounds are continuously going. Changing weapons, changing calibers. You can hear the difference in the gunshots of the different rifles that he is shooting."
The Veteran did everything he could to reach authorities and assist them in getting the shooter, but told news outlets, "hardest part for me was feeling like I couldn't do more".
Now he has trouble sleeping and eating according to AOL since he's gotten back home. You sir are another hero in this! Please know that!
