A Virgin training flight that left from Gatwick in the U.K. took a special flight path in honor of Valentine's Day.
After some flak from environmentalists, Virgin said it was a rrequired training flight that the shifted the flight path just slightly in order to create the heart.
Hi Adam - This was a required training flight that happened to take place on Valentines Day, so we altered the flight path slightly to make a heart shape ^JT— Virgin Atlantic (@VirginAtlantic) February 14, 2018
A pretty creative and cool site to see from the airline, I think. The best tweet about it though was "If that plane keeps doing stuff like that, it won't be a Vrigin for long".
