Biggest Country Songs Over The Past Decade

We are closing out a decade with the new 2020 coming in. Let's take a look back at the biggest songs every year, over the past 10 years, in country music.

From 2010-2020, we've heard some pretty awesome music out of Nashville. It's no big surprise the biggest songs over the decade though, came from a lot of Georgia Country Artists. Florida Georgia Line dominated 4 or 5 of the years, Jason Aldean and Little Big Town both had major milestone moments as well.

I'm sure you remember each and every one of these songs:

Top Country Songs Of The Past Decade

2010 – Josh Turner – Why Don’t We Dance (Miranda Lambert – The House that Built Me was a very close second. Both spent 4 weeks at #1)

2011 – Eli Young Band – Crazy Girl (ranked most popular song of the year on billboard with only 1 week at #1)

2012 – Taylor Swift- We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (the longest-running number one song on the chart for a lead female artist)

2013 – Florida Georgia Line – Cruise (remix) (this topped the chart for 2012 at #2 and then again in 2013 at #1)

2014 – Jason Aldean – Burnin It Down (spent 14 weeks in the #1 slot)

2015 – Little Big Town – Girl Crush (Topped Aldean with 16 weeks atop the Billboard chart)

2016 – FGL – H.O.L.Y. (It's been a big decade for FGL, this song spent 18 weeks at #1)

2017 – Sam Hunt - Body Like a Backroad (shattered all records before it with a whopping 34 weeks in 2017 at #1)

2018 – FGL ft. BeBe Rexha – Meant To Be (Arguably the biggest country song of the past 10 years, with 35 weeks at #1 breaking Sam Hunts 2017 record)

2019 – Luke Combs – Beautiful Crazy (Breakout year for Luke Combs, his song spent 11 Weeks at #1 and he is the only artists to take every single debut song to #1 he has released so far)
