Wish you could've just not gotten out of bed today? Well, a Chinese man just made 11k in less than a month live streaming himself snoozing!
Yuansan started on February 9 just leaving his live stream going, while he went off to bed. He was really just trying to see if he snored or did anything weird while he slept. Shockingly, the next day he woke up to 800,000 new followers. It was all on a Japanese version of Tik Tok, called Douyin .
After seeing that happen, he did it every night and it's gone viral. With over 18.5 Million followers now, people are coming in droves to see a random person sleep on camera. I'm not sure what the fascination is, but it's earning him cash too. Many viewers have sent him money to keep it up and he's racked up $11,000 now, since starting the feed.
I'd be nervous people would hear me talking about crazy stuff I'm dreaming about or doing odd things in my sleep.
He's not gonna keep it up though. “Thank you guys for coming to see me these days, but I don’t plan to live-stream again anytime soon,” reads a comment from Yuansan on his channel. “I have experienced the feeling of being an internet celebrity recently and there’s nothing to regret. I’ll try to produce quality short videos.”
Good, then I can take the idea and Live Stream myself sleeping at work. Let's see how much money I can make! Or maybe I can take sleeping to random locations and live stream my self sleeping on MARTA or in a library, or maybe church (that happens more often than you think).
