New Orleans police where shocked by the most recent expired plate traffic stop. The man's excuse gets him on the OShow's #MoronMonday list
Most of us would probably use the "I've been busy lately" excuse if our tag wasn't up today, but that will only buy you an extra few months.... not 23 YEARS! Officers in New Orleans pulled a man over for driving with expired plates. The man tried that exact excuse and pretended it slipped his mind. His last time updating his registration was in 1997!! Police posted a photo of the license plate on Facebook. Police haven't said what kind of ticket, if any the man received.
Slidell Police wrote on their Facebook:
"We Can’t Make This Stuff Up!🤯For those of you who like to “switch tags”, at least give us a good challenge and don’t use a license plate that is over 20-years-old and expired back in 1997!" He told the officer "I will take care of it as soon as I get home!”. RIGHT!?
