It's quite a feat to make it 100 years on the planet with out any arrest record. This woman just celebrated her 100th and ended up in handcuffs.
Ruth Bryant of Roxboro, North Carolina has always had on her bucket-list to be arrested (odd, I know) but who can tell this lady she can't do that before she dies. Well, she didn't go rob a bank or do anything crazy. He family just enlisted local police to make it happen.
Ruth was celebrating her 100th bday at Cambridge Hills Assisted Living Center and with friends and family all surrounding her, a police officer asked, "Are you, Miss Bryant?" Bryant replied, "It all depends on what you want!" The officer then explained she was wanted on an indecent exposure charge and was handcuffed to her walker and placed in a patrol car. It made her day!
She achieved her bucket-list of going to jail "to see what it's like". Officers took her down to be processed and she spent a few minutes inside a cell with her custom orange jump suit that said "PERSON COUNTY JAIL" on it. "I'm in the jailhouse now! I finally got here," Bryant said before hugging the chief jailer and returning to her assisted living center, where they where ready to cut the cake. (Source: ABC7NY)
