A couple who met over balconies in Verona, Italy have finally met and shared their first kiss, after finding love during #quarantine.
Michele D’Alpaos and Paola Agnelli are like a modern-day Romeo and Juliet, after finding a forbidden love over a balcony conversation in Verona (the city where Shakespeare's play is set). 2 months ago the couple caught eyes while on the balcony in lock down. They exchanged socials and have since fallen in love. They never got a chance to meet because of lock down restrictions, until recently. (NY Post)
She says they were both really nervous, but it went really well, adding, “He was just like I imagined he would be.” “It was wonderful to finally meet her,” Michele adds. “She is more beautiful than I thought.” Now he says they’re making plans to move in together.
