I'm sort of a space geek, but there is something so relaxing and puts you in sort of a trance watching this time-lapse video of the sun by NASA.
A day by day view of the sun for the past 10 years was just released by NASA. You can see it's rise and fall of activity and energy over time. NASA said this video shows images taken at a wavelength of 17.1 nanometers which is "an extreme ultraviolet wavelength that shows the sun's outermost atmospheric layer — the corona." The movie compiles a photo every hour of the giant star we love to bath in. The dark slides are "caused by the Earth or the moon eclipsing SDO as they pass between the spacecraft and the sun."
It's just really soothing and de-stressing to watch. If you need to get away from social media and clear your head, throw this on the 55" screen and let it play. it's like 60 mins of relaxation. Sort of like being at a massage spa.
