Many people go their whole life without learning to water ski.... this baby can't even walk yet, but can water ski!
Rich Casey Humphreys is six-months and four-days old, and he just became the youngest water skier in the world. Casey and Mindi Humphreys, Rich's parents, shared an adorable video of the infant gliding the water on his custom made skis. The post was captioned "I went water skiing for my 6 month birthday. Apparently that’s a big deal…#worldrecord" So CUTE!
Not sure I'd feel safe draggin my 6-month old behind a boat but... I guess, to each their own.
As you can guess, social media critics got fired up saying, “This just isn’t okay,” and another comment “So many things could have gone wrong. It’s not cute just for likes.” Another commentor asks, “Can we report this? Surely this abuse!”
There where some stepping up to defend the family calling the haters, “helicopter parents." Another said, “Their kids are probably on video games all day.” One person was happy for this baby living it's best life writing, “[people] need to stop always coddling their children, this baby is six months old and is living his best life.”
I don't think any of us get to judge another parent raising their child. If it isn't blatant harm to the child, it ain't your business. This child was not harmed and now holds a world record, before most can say one word.
