Some die-hard Bengal's fans are breaking out the beer that saved from the last Superbowl appearance and finding out that's a terrible idea.
It's been a LONG time coming for Bengal's fans to see another Superbowl appearance. Actually... over 30 years to be exact. Yesterday (Sunday), the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Kansas City Chiefs -- and punched their ticket to Super Bowl 56. The team hasn't been to the Super Bowl since 1988. Back then a beer was made called the "HuDey Beer" and many fans still have unopened cans that they vowed to drink the next time their team made it.
Hudepohl Brewing Company was responsible for the beer back in the 1980s. Many fans have taken to social media to show off their stale beer experiment and finding out it's pretty terrible and undrinkable. It even trigged some gag reflexes with how pungent it turned out to be.
These fans tried it a few years ago when the Bengals found their way into the post season:
