A lake near Atlanta, GA is about to be the new trash TV mecca with a new MTV reality show by the producers of "Jersey Shore".
June 23rd the "Jersey Shore" meets Atlanta. Producers of MTV's Jersey Shore have been filming on Lake Lanier, according to news sources. Video in the trailer seems to look more like Lake Burton. Either way, they are about to introduce the world to a new cast of wild 20-somethings, as they party it up all summer on the Lake.
The concept is 9 friends from the city, Buckhead and around Atlanta, decide to ditch the city and head to the shores of the Lake to live their best life. Jammed packed with all the drama, housemates hooking up with each other and someone hiding a big secret from the rest of the house.
It was 2009 when we got introduced to the original "Jersey Shore" cast, who has made millions from their stardom on the reality series, and even spawned dozens of spin-off with them vacationing, dating, and more."Floribama Shore" was an attempt at recreating the magic of the original show in Orange Beach. The original "Jersey Shore" series is still MTV’s highest rated series ever.
I love watching shows that are based in Atlanta, but I'm not sure Lake Lanier or Lake Burton need anymore reckless abandon from out-of-control, drunk idiots.
