Braves Hall of Fame manager, Bobby Cox, was taken to an Atlanta-area hospital Tuesday after suffering a possible stroke.
WSB-TV was the first to report that Cox remains hospitalized. However specifics about his condition were not revealed.
Cox participated in the pregame ceremonies before the Braves’ home opener against the Cubs on Monday night.
Cox served as the Braves manager from 1978-81, and again from 1990-2010. He managed the Braves to 14 consecutive division championships (1991-2005), five NL pennants and one World Series title.
