This song hits home for me. My mother was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's disease nearly 12 years ago. Since then, people have sent me several songs about the disease but rarely does one connect like Riley Green's, "Numbers On The Cars." It perfectly shows how some things are forgotten while minor details are remembered. Pulling from those memories give anyone who is close to the disease a sense of understanding and re-living the past through the present.
