A man tried to do a "controlled burn," the process of burning organic material to make way for healthier plants and vegetation, in the backyard of his home. The problem was the "control" portion. He caught his shed on fire which then hopped the fence and torched three trailer homes that neighbored his property. It took firefighters nearly 20 minutes to contain the blaze.
One of the homes destroyed belonged to the guy who set the fire.
