A Florida man is hoping for a light sentence after pulling off a robbery that netted him a case of light beer ... and a few packs of cigarettes.
Michael Tabor used a two-by-four and a brick to smash in the front door of a convenience store in Shalimar, then climbed in and helped himself to the necessities of life.
The 53-year-old made off with a case of Natural Light and four packs of smokes, brand not identified.
Tabor said he lurked in the bushes until a clerk closed up for the night, then made his move. He was apprehended a short distance away while sipping on one of the brewskis.
