Teen Dying Of Cancer Wanted A Sports Car Funeral Procession

Alec Ingram had been battling osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, for more than four years and recently lost the fight. But the 14-year-old from Washington, Missouri would be glad to know that more than 2,100 sports cars and 70 motorcycles hit the road to fulfill his last wish.

The “Sports Cars for Alec” event was organized by Sydney's Soldiers Always, a group that helps kids with terminal illnesses with bucket lists. Thanks to their efforts, thousands of sports and exotic cars helped escort Alec to his funeral. Some drivers came from as far as California, Florida, and New York to be part of it.

Alec’s mom, Jen, says “It was so overwhelmingly good for me to see how much my boy was loved.”
