Najiah Knight is just 13 and already turning heads! She is one of the youngest professional bull riders in the world and also one of a few women that have ever taken a ride! Knight's parents say Najiah expressed interest at the age of three while watching her dad ride some bulls. Najiah was raised in rural Oregon and said "Dad, can you put me on one?" At the time her dad concluded that she was too young for bulls so he put her on a sheep and she won a competition in riding. Najiah is 4-foot-10 and weighs around 70 pounds. The bulls she now rides range between 600 and 1000 pounds.
“Girls can do anything they want, and if people tell them they can’t, that makes me mad,” Najiah says. “I’ve been told that before, and I tell them that I wasn’t doing it for them, I was doing it for me. And I don’t care what they think.”
