Officer Saves Baby's Life In Waynesboro, Georgia

Now this is body-cam footage that we can actually appreciate seeing! It shows the moment a Georgia police sergeant saved a baby boy who stopped breathing.

Meet Waynesboro Police Sergeant Harold Drummond. He's the one that responded to the call last month. When he arrived at a store parking lot, he found 6-month-old baby AJ not breathing.

In the video, you can see him using his fingers to perform CPR on AJ. The child’s family says they are so grateful for the Drummond's life-saving actions. And as you watch the video, Sergeant Drummond seems so cool, calm and collected. But he says he was nervous at the time! Could have fooled us!

We are so thankful for our first responders. And we believe they need to be celebrated and shown appreciation every single day.

Little AJ is happy and healthy back home with his parents and twin sister. They are the cutest little things!

A respiratory virus that the baby had is likely what led to the scary moment.
