The year was 2018 when a press release called for the end of "Candy Hearts," a popular candy on Valentine's Day. The parent company could no longer justify the cost associated with the candies. The press release did say that the candy would most certainly be back, possibly in 2020. Well, here we are and they are back but without ONE major element...the sayings. Spangler Candy, makers of Dum-Dums, bought the Candy Hearts line up and has brought it back. The issue stems from the machine responsible for stamping the sayings on the candies.
