The Coronavirus outbreak is sweeping the world and has numerous companies, productions, sports and events to re-think their policies. Here's a list of some events that have been changed or even cancelled.
CANCELLED:
South By Southwest SXSW in Austin, Texas. The festival has been a staple in music and Austin for over 20 years.
The St Patrick's Day Parade in Chicago.
CHANGED:
Jeopardy isn't allowing a studio audience. The fear is about the health concerns with Alex Trebek who is fighting pancreatic cancer.
Wheel of Fortune is also not allowing a studio audience.
Most MLB teams are nixing locker room access for members of the press.
The NHL and NBA also have restrictions. In fact, some NHL games will be played in front of an empty stadium. The NBA has postponed the rest of the season.
Coachella is postponed.
Stagecoach is postponed.
The Men's College Basketball Tournament will be played to empty arenas (only essential team personnel and families allowed.)
