Cobb County To Re-Open Passive Parks And Trails

On Saturday, Cobb County will reopen trails and “passive” parks including the Silver Comet Trail, Noonday Creek Trail and Bob Callen Trail among others. “Passive Parks” are those without amenities like playgrounds, ballparks, soccer fields, or tennis centers. The passive parks allow for more social distancing under public health guidelines. If you plan on using them, remember that you are required to adhere to social distancing guidelines and wear a mask.

As far as Swift-Cantrell park in Kennesaw, the parking lot and walking trails will be open. The playground facilities and skate park will not.
