A retired farmer in Kansas did a very small act of kindness by giving Governor Cuomo of New York an N95 mask, because he "had an extra." Dennis Ruhnke had given a mask to every member of his family but had one left over. The Governor got the mask and responded by thanking Ruhnke and giving the mask to a hospital worker. Ruhnke was also surprised when his alma mater, Kansas State, stepped up. Ruhnke had been enrolled in courses there for agriculture when he left the program two credits shy of a diploma. Kansas State honored his accomplishments and gave him his degree.
