Don't Forget To Rest Your Eyes

The amount of time that we’ve spent during quarantine in front of screens has skyrocketed. The American Academy of Ophthalmology warns that too much screen time may cause blurred vision, headaches, eye dryness or aches.

Follow the doctor’s "20-20-20 rule" to avoid eye-strain.

Its actually pretty simple. Every 20 minutes, you need to focus on something at least 20 feet away for 20 seconds or more. There ya go - 20-20-20.

If you’re already feeling that screen fatigue, here's another suggestion that may help. Consider disabling notifications on your phone. The beeps and buzzes are intended to entice you to look at your handheld device. Avoid the temptation by silencing those notifications. Most alerts are hardly important and only rarely urgent.
