Meanwhile in Florida...a man, dressed as a pirate, explained to police that he is "an entertainer." The reason he was speaking with officers is that a passing motorist called about a "pirate shooting his gun at cars." Jamie Spering was at a bar with two women when they left and pulled over off Seven Bridge Road. That's where Spering fired his black powder rifle towards the water. Spering loaded another round and fired into traffic. There was no projectile but the smoke plume and boom led to a phone call. Spering was cited for his reckless act.
