Dietician Approved Simple Way To Drop Weight

There’s no magic pill to make you lose weight. But I do think different strokes for different folks. What may work for me may not work for you. But if something is working for a group of people, why not pass it along? It may work for somebody else.

Andrea Ovard is a registered dietician that feels like she’s found the easiest hack for weight loss. It’s pretty simple and it doesn’t require weighing, measuring and calculating every meal. Andrea says it’s as simple as eating two cups of vegetables a day.

While it may not be glamorous or exciting, it has been proven to work. And the reason that it works is that veggies are low in calories and filled with fiber, so they’ll help you feel full for longer and give you a daily dose of healthy vitamins and minerals. Ovard advises downing at least two cups of vegetables every day until it becomes a habit, like brushing your teeth.

"Vegetables are nutrient-dense but usually very low in calories, which means you can eat A LOT of veggies to help you feel full while consuming very few calories. Filling up on them means you won’t have room for a sugary and fatty dessert.

That’s why the strategy helps with weight loss, according to Ovard.

One question…do potato chips count as a vegetable?
