During and after the big game, the internet was blowing up about the performances of Jennifer Lopez and Shakira at halftime.
During the show there were dancers, fireworks, and amazing music...but there was also a little pole-dancing, what looked like a bit of crotch-grabbing, and those outfits.
The online debate: Was it empowering to see these two women over 40 in control and performing in what many felt was an overtly sexual way? Or was this simply another example of how far we haven't come in stopping the objectification of women?
